Traffic signal at SR501 & Millport Road vehicle detection issue

The traffic signal at SR501 & Millport Road is not detecting vehicles properly and is operating on set times. A controller for the signal needs to be replaced and the anticipated date for the controller to be delivered is approximately 3 weeks.
Typically, at certain hours of the day, this signal will turn green only when vehicles are waiting on Millport Road. The signal will now activate for Millport Road whether or not vehicles are waiting for a green light.
