PennDOT is proposing a bridge replacement project on East Millport Road, between Karen Ct. & Warwick Rd.
PennDOT is proposing a bridge replacement project on East Millport Road, between Karen Court and Warwick Road. PennDOT plans to replace the existing narrow structure, which is in poor condition, with a new structure providing enough width for one lane in each direction plus shoulders on each side. The road will be closed during construction with a detour route posted. The start of the project is tentative and could occur in 2019 or 2020. Below are the associated project maps for the bridge replacement. One map illustrates the improvements, and the other map illustrates the detour proposed by PennDOT.
There is also an associated survey that individuals may submit to provide their comments or questions about the project. If you wish to participate, the survey should be sent to David Slimak, Project Engineer at dslimak@pa.gov. Surveys should be submitted by November 9, 2018.
