DEDICATION OF THE WARWICK TO EPHRATA RAIL TRAIL

Remarks and ribbon cutting begin at 10:00a.m.
at the Rail Trail Bridge spanning the Cocalico Creek (near Millway Road) 

The Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail Committee comprised of Akron Borough, Ephrata Borough, Ephrata Township and Warwick Township will hold an event to formally dedicate the 7.2 mile Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail. The rail trail, a project fifteen years in the making, connects Lititz Borough, Warwick Township, Ephrata Township, Akron Borough and Ephrata Borough with a safe, alternate mode of transportation. The capstone of the rail trial is the renovated 109-year old railroad bridge that spans the Cocalico Creek.

There is limited parking at the event site. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to park at the Warwick Township Municipal Building and walk the rail trail to the dedication. There is also limited parking available in Ephrata Borough in a lot at the Parkview Heights Road.
