LRWA Stream Clean-up Day
Stream Clean-up Day - March 18, 2023
Thank you to everyone who volunteered to pick up litter and clean the stream during the Lititz Run Watershed Alliance annual Stream Clean-up Day!
We would like to thank the following volunteers for their participation (in no particular order): Jim Hovan & students from CV’s Fishing Club, Science NHS, Ecology and AP Environmental Science classes; Lisa Hochreiter’s FFA Students; Logan & Lynn Myers and family; Brad McClain; Brent Good; Don Gallagher; Terry Duffin; Michael Wolgemuth and volunteers from Inframark; Jonestown Bank volunteers, Mike & Jodi Wetherhold and family; B-Mac Alliance Adventure Crew, Brian Harris & family, and Jim & Heidi Bushong and family.
Thank you to Lancaster County Solid Waste Authority for supplying trash bags and gloves; and Dosie Dough for providing the refreshments.
The LRWA has dedicated the third Saturday in March as Stream Clean-up Day. Next year's event will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Stream Clean-up is part of the Pennsylvania Keep America Beautiful campaign, as well as Chesapeake Bay Project Stream Clean.
