Pierson Road Closure beginning Monday, August 30th
Road improvements and connections are taking place in the area of East Sixth Street and Pierson Road, both near Rothsville Road. Beginning Monday, August 30th, Pierson Road will be closed between Kissel Hill Road and Rothsville Road, with the exception of local traffic. The roadway will be completely impassible between 339 Pierson Road, and the single lane exit from LEFC, next to 401 Pierson Road. Addresses of 401-417 Pierson Road will need to be accessed from Rothsville Road, and addresses of 301-339 Pierson Road will need to be accessed from Kissel Hill Road.
The road closure is due to the creation of Siegrist Farm Road, the road that will connect Pierson Road to West Sixth Street. This construction should take 3 ½ - 4 weeks. Once this road is connected to West Sixth Street and opened to the roundabout on Rothsville Road, then the intersection of Pierson Road and Rothsville Road will be redesigned for “right in, right out”.
