WTMA DRINKING WATER QUALITY STATEMENT

WTMA DRINKING WATER QUALITY STATEMENT:

Warwick Township Municipal Authority (WTMA) is providing the following information to ensure accurate and correct drinking water quality data is being shared with all our customers.  First, the annual water quality reports indicate that WTMA is in compliance with, and meets, all federal and state drinking water requirements. The annual water quality report is available to all customers each year.  These reports are found at this link: http://www.warwicktownship.org/WTMA/annual-drinking-water-quality-reportThe annual report is issued prior to the end of June and remains readily available on the WTMA website.  For your convenience, the annual reports for 2009-2016 are also posted on the WTMA website. Notices were mailed to all WTMA customers before the June 30th deadline, noting that the 2016 annual reports were available on the WTMA website.

Second, water quality data from 1998-2016 for the WTMA system is available on the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) website.  The link is http://www.drinkingwater.state.pa.usNote: WTMA operates 2 separate water systems, the Warwick Township Lititz Water System (PWS ID No. 7360116) and the Warwick Township Rothsville Water System (PWS ID No. 7360120).

All water quality information on the reports is derived from sampling protocol that meets PADEP and United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) standards.  As a public water utility we are required to meet their sampling data protocol.

We hope this information is helpful and affirms our mission to serve the community.
