This facility was funded using a PA DEP Act 101, Section 902 Recycling Grant

Warwick Township's Leaf and Woody Yard Waste Drop-off Site is located at 550 Stauffer Road, between East Woods Drive & East Millport Road, north of Lancaster Airport.  The site accepts tree limbs, shrubs, leaves & garden residue.  Signs are posted directing motorists to the appropriate drop-off area for these materials.  Grass is NOT accepted at the site.  The site is available seven days per week from dawn to dusk.  There is no charge for Warwick Township residents to use the site; however, non-residents are required to pay $10.00 per pick-up or trailer load, and $1.00 per bag or can. Leave only acceptable material at the site, not the container in which it was transported.

We also offer free wood chips to residents at our Leaf and Woody Yard Waste Drop-off site (you will need to bring a shovel and something to transport the material with you, these are not offered at the site). 

In accordance with the drop-off site, Ordinance #228 was officially adopted by the Board of Supervisor's at their regularly meeting on September 19, 2007.   This Ordinance addresses trash collection/recycling, as well as open burning in Warwick Township.  The Ordinance became effective on November 30, 2007.  If you have any questions, or would like additional information, please contact the Administration office at 717-626-8900 or e-mail bkreider@warwicktownship.org.
