Dan Zimmerman called the meeting to order at 4:00p.m. Present at the meeting were Bill Belden, Grant Hummer, Don Gallagher, Matt Kofroth Jimmy Kreider and Matt Kofroth.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: On a motion by Gallagher, seconded by Belden, the minutes from the April 27, 2010 meeting were approved by a consensus of the committee.

STATUS REPORT ON STREAM MONITORING PROGRAM: All sites are being monitored now, thanks to the help of Brendan Cowhey, a student from Manheim Central School District. Data being collected has been consistent and very helpful.

REPORT ON 2010 WATERSHED DAY: The event was very successful. LRWA appreciated the support from the Warwick Education Foundation and Warwick Township Municipal Authority. We need to evaluate options for funding for next years event.

RAIN BARREL UPDATE: Rain Barrels are being painted and retro-fitted for use. The girl scouts will hold several demonstration days at Bomberger’s Store. A date will be chosen for a workshop at the Township building which will be run by Matt Kofroth.

FINANCE REPORT: The Board reviewed expenditures for 2010 through May.

REPORT ON THE "CATCH AND RELEASE" PROGRAM: This issue will be discussed at the July meeting.

OTHER BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE COMMITTEE: Discussed tree dedication for environmentalist Sam Wenger.
