717-626-8900 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Dan Zimmerman 717-626-8900 ISSUED: March 31, 2011 Per Conditional Use Negotiations The Wayfinding Sign program is just one of the projects being funded by the donation. Others include a parking management study and a floodplain study. The donation was part of a conditional use agreement negotiated between Warwick Township and Warwick Devco several years ago, when the Target project was in front of the Warwick Board of Supervisors. Upon receiving the check, Venture Lititz President Gaylord Poling said “Venture Lititz, on behalf of the entire Lititz community, thanks The Shoppes at Kissel Village and their owner Warwick Devco for their generous donation of $100,000 to enhance the economic vibrancy of our downtown. We also want to thank the Warwick Township Supervisors and Dan Zimmerman for their part in making this a reality. This wonderful donation will be used for special projects within our downtown such as expanding our wayfinding signage. It is especially gratifying that our good neighbors to the south recognize the value of a thriving downtown to our overall region. Without an exciting, and economically healthy downtown, there would be no traffic, no people, and no significant commerce. Thank you again for recognizing the impact of our downtown and the part it can play in helping us all be successful.” The new Target is expected to open in November of this year.
